West Virginia University (WVU) |
ADNET provides all IT infrastructure support services for the NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) facility located in Fairmont, West Virginia operated by West Virginia University. ADNET’s services include: network design, deployment and operations; Tier 1, 2, and 3 help desk support; facilities management; and IT Security.
ADNET designed, implemented and maintains daily operation of the network that includes network traffic monitoring.
Our end user support includes an IT Support Desk to provide services to NASA civil servants, West Virginia University staff, and other supporting contractors. The ADNET Support Desk is the primary point of contact for: phone services and voice mail; network services and connectivity; remote access and video teleconferencing satellite TV; and desktop and application support.
As part of our facility support efforts, we assist other tenants in assessing and devising installation plans (e.g. cooling, power, UPS, equipment placement/proximity) such as our support to the NOAA tenant in planning their installation of equipment for their National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) project.
Our staff plays a critical role to both define and enhance the facility’s IT Security support. ADNET’s experts support cyber and facility systems security. We manage the operation of the NASA IV&V Security Configuration and Control Board (SCCB) and provide NASA and WVU with recommendations based on facility requirements, return on investment (ROI), and decision impacts for operations and maintenance activities.
